Anthony DiNozzo: On my way, boss.

----------

Ziva David: So where are we going on this... Mystery date?

Andrew Hoffman: Well, it wouldn't be a mystery if I told you, Gina.

Ziva David: Should I have brought my toothbrush?

----------

Gibbs's car

Timothy McGee: Going right on Connecticut.

----------

Car

Andrew Hoffman: You left the bar early last night.

Ziva David: Yes. My husband was calling from Fallujah. What did you do when I left?

Andrew Hoffman: Nothing. Went home, went to bed.

Ziva David: Should I get on the expressway?

Andrew Hoffman: Nope.

Ziva David: I like a man who keeps secrets.

----------

Gibbs's car

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: What's the gap?

Timothy McGee: Almost two blocks.

----------

House: living room / Gibbs's car

Anthony DiNozzo: Boss...

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You done?

Anthony DiNozzo: Don't need the bugs, boss, got Hoffman's latest victim. Number five. Female Caucasian, mid to late twenties. Dead on the living room floor.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs:What about the finger?

Anthony DiNozzo: Yep, missing a finger.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Call Ziva... Give her the distress code. Tell her we're taking Hoffman down now.

----------

Car / Gibbs's car

Ziva David: Hello.

Timothy McGee: Bernard?

Ziva David: No, you've got the wrong number.

----------

Car

Ziva David: If you're not going to tell me where we are going, I'm gonna need a ladies' room... What are you doing?

Andrew Hoffman: Who's Gibbs?

Ziva David: Wrong number.

Andrew Hoffman: His name's number two on your speed dial.

Ziva David: He was an ex-boyfriend, okay? Can I have my phone back, please?

Andrew Hoffman: Drive.

----------

Gibbs's car

Timothy McGee: They just turned west... All right, the car is stopped two blocks ahead.

----------

Warehouse

Andrew Hoffman: You're a cop, aren't you?

Ziva David: Why did you kill these women, Andy?

Andrew Hoffman: Save them the humiliation of finding out that their wives were screwing around on them while they were serving their country.

Ziva David: Is that what happened to you?

Andrew Hoffman: You don't need to know what happened to me... Walk... Get in there.

Gunshot, fight

Gunshots

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Ziva! Ziva... Come on... You all right?

----------

Later

Donald Mallard: Sorry... She should go for X-ray.

Ziva David: I am fine.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You don't look fine.

Donald Mallard: Well, don't stand there, Mr. Palmer, get the gurney.

James Palmer: Yes, doctor.

Ziva David: He did not hurt me.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Need your clothes. Get changed, get an X-ray, go home... I don't need to see you again today.

----------

House: living room / Warehouse

Timothy McGee: McGee.

Anthony DiNozzo: Where the hell are you, McTardy? I'm still here alone with the dead body.

Timothy McGee: We're still processing our own, Tony. We'll be there soon as we can.

Anthony DiNozzo: How's Ziva?

Timothy McGee: Pretty shaken up.

Anthony DiNozzo: Keep me updated.

Timothy McGee: I will.

----------

Warehouse

Steeve Rosetti: Finally got the dirtbag.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: His name's Andrew Hoffman. You heard of him?

Steeve Rosetti: No. But I hear you've got another body.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Victim number five.

Steeve Rosetti: Military wife?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Don't know yet.

Steeve Rosetti: How'd you get on to Hoffman?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Officer David was working undercover in the bar where two of the victims were last seen.

Steeve Rosetti: Planning to do the same thing ourselves if you guys hadn't taken over the case.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You know, Rosetti, I don't think Hoffman is your type.

Steeve Rosetti: Nice work, David.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: I'll get someone to take you to the hospital.

Steeve Rosetti: I can give you a lift.

Ziva David: No, I'm fine, Detective... I'm fine, really, thank you.

----------

NCIS: Squad room

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: I told you to go home.

Ziva David: My statement is on your desk. Have you identified the last victim?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: No.

Ziva David: I thought I would go back to the bar where I met Hoffman, show the victim's photo. Do you have a face shot?

Timothy McGee: Yeah, I'll print one.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You stay with her, DiNozzo.

Anthony DiNozzo: Okay.

Ziva David: What?

Anthony DiNozzo: You don't look so bad. McGee said you were a wreck... I was just gonna tussle your hair. Sometimes it makes you smile.

Ziva David: Sorry.

----------

Bar

Reporter: A fifth, still unidentified victim was found this afternoon inside Hoffman's home. His shooting death by an undercover NCIS agent ends the series of brutal murders of military wives found in war memorials around DC. The murders have been taking place over the last two months...

Anthony DiNozzo: I'll take the bartender.

Ziva David: Her name is Heidi.

Anthony DiNozzo: Hidey-ho.

----------

Michael Locke: Gina, you hear about Andy Hoffman, guy that sits at the end of the bar?

Ziva David: Yes.

Michael Locke: You were just talking to him the other night. Can you believe he would...

Ziva David: Michael. My name is, not Gina. My name is Ziva.

Michael Locke: You're an undercover cop? That... That was you?

Ziva David: I'm a federal agent, actually.

Michael Locke: Holy crap... You never... So when you were chatting me up, you were... I mean, you thought I might be...

Ziva David: Michael, I was doing my job.

Michael Locke: Sure, just doing your job.

----------

Anthony DiNozzo: Have you ever seen this woman before?

Heidi: She's dead?

Anthony DiNozzo: She was never in here on my shift. She's the one they found at Hoffman's house?

Heidi: Yes, she is.

Anthony DiNozzo: Did you ever talk to him?

Heidi: All the time. Actually gives me the creeps thinking about it. There's a couple of guys in here I would've suspected before him.

Anthony DiNozzo: He ever mentioned his ex-wife?

Heidi: I didn't know he was married.

Anthony DiNozzo: Interesting... You know who that guy is over there in the corner?

Heidi: With Gina? His name is Michael.

Anthony DiNozzo: What's his story?

Heidi: Michael used to come in here all the time with his girlfriend. She walked out on him a few weeks ago, and he hasn't been able to find her.

----------

Michael Locke: This girl's name is Julie. I don't know her surname. I talked to her once or twice. I thought maybe she knew Devon, my girlfriend... Ex. I still haven't found her... It's been three weeks. You don't think Hoffman... I mean, you think they're gonna find more bodies?

Ziva David: I hope not.

Michael Locke: I'm worried. She used to be married to a Navy SEAL... It fits the profile... Did he do that?

----------

NCIS: Squad room

Timothy McGee: Name's Julie Ann Smight. Employer filed a missing person with the Chevy Chase PD this morning.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: She married?

Timothy McGee: Yeah, to... Petty Officer First Class Donald Smight. He's aboard the U.S.S. Eisenhower.

Ziva David: She was last seen two nights ago, leaving a lounge on U Street... Alone.

Anthony DiNozzo: Petty Officer Massey's here to pick up his wife's personal belongings.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: How you holding up?

Kevin Massey: I'm all right, I guess. Hope you don't mind, ma'am, but I asked Special Agent DiNozzo to bring me up here. I wanted to thank you personally for killing that bastard... I hope you made him suffer for what he did.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: DiNozzo, take Petty Officer Massey down to the evidence locker.

Anthony DiNozzo: Will do. This way.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Hey.

----------

NCIS: Autopsy room

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: What do you want, Duck?

Donald Mallard: Jethro. I've reviewed the autopsies of the first four victims, and I'm currently examining the fifth. All four were stabbed in the same manner with the same knife. In all five, tox screens show large amounts of Rohypnol and alcohol. But in regard to the fingers, or lack thereof... I found a curious inconsistency... Four of the five were severed postmortem. Based on lividity and blood flow, I'd estimate several hours after death. But the finger of fourth victim... Was cut off almost immediately.

James Palmer: Maybe someone interrupted him so he had to rush to finish it.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Abby, what are you doing?

Abigael Scuito: Efficiency, Gibbs. I took off 14 and a half seconds from what it usually takes me to get here. So, I estimate that I could gain 17 minutes a day. That would be 85 minutes in a week. 382 minutes in a month. So, in a year...

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Abs.

Abigael Scuito: Yes, Gibbs?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Is that knife gonna tell me something?

Abigael Scuito: Yes and no. I mean, it definitely is the serrated knife that severed the victims' fingers.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: But?

Abigael Scuito: But, I found a... Partial print in blood on the handle. It doesn't match Hoffman or the other victims. I don't think Hoffman was working alone.

----------

NCIS: Squad room

Ziva David: Die, you stupid machine!

Timothy McGee: She seems unfazed.

Anthony DiNozzo: Those are standard Mossad style copy machine assault tactics, McGee. She's fine. Hey, McGee thinks you're raging against the machine 'cause you had to take down your serial killer boyfriend.

Timothy McGee: Thanks for that... Ziva, I was just concerned...

Ziva David: I am fine.

Anthony DiNozzo: See? McGee? She's a steely-eyed killer.

Ziva David: Sheket bevakasha!

Anthony DiNozzo: I don't know him. Borscht-belt comedian?

Ziva David: It is Hebrew. For shut up.

Anthony DiNozzo: Really did affect you, huh? Have you had your mandatory session with the shrink?

Ziva David: Yes.

Anthony DiNozzo: Still crazy, then? Getting off your case.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Well, you can stay on this one. Abby found a partial print on the murder weapon that does not match our killer.

Timothy McGee: Hoffman had an accomplice?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: That's one explanation.

Ziva David: Could be a copycat killer.

Anthony DiNozzo: Copycats copy. They don't use the same weapon.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Re-examine the crime scene, canvass Hoffman's neighborhood, take another look at the surveillance video... Tomorrow... Go home. Been a long day. Get some rest... You... I do not need to see you here tomorrow.

Anthony DiNozzo: Anyone want to, get a drink? Drink?

Ziva David: Not tonight, Tony.

Anthony DiNozzo: Listen... I wasn't trying to make light of what you went through. Just trying to snap you out of your head space, you know?

Ziva David: I have perfectly good space in my head.

Anthony DiNozzo: Great. Then let's get a drink. You talk, I'll listen.

Ziva David: I don't want a drink.

Anthony DiNozzo: Okay. One drink. I'll talk, you listen.

Ziva David: Tony. No.

----------

Bar

Michael Locke: Let me buy you the next one. You working?

Ziva David: No... No, really. I'm not working. Just... Drinking. Heidi! Uno más, s'il vous plaît.

Heidi: Coming up!

Michael Locke: You're mixing your languages.

Ziva David: And my liquors.

Michael Locke: Not exactly the place to come if you're not on the case. There's a thousand bars in this town.

Ziva David: I like the atmosphere. And Heidi... Makes one killer mojito.

Michael Locke: I thought maybe you took a shine to one of the patrons.

Ziva David: And you? You are here, no doubt, in search of Debbie?

Michael Locke: Devon.

Ziva David: Potato, potahto.

Michael Locke: Yeah, well, not searching. Just drinking.

Ziva David: So, tell me about Debbie. Just kidding. Devon. Very pretty.

Michael Locke: And smart. Funny. Terrible sense of direction... Drive you insane with her incessant movie references. Worries about others more than herself. Generous to a fault.

Ziva David: No wonder you're looking for her. She sounds amazing.

Michael Locke: Other than the fact that we were totally incompatible, Devon was perfect for me.

Ziva David: You miss her?

Michael Locke: I'm not looking to get back with her. I just... Want to know she's okay.

Ziva David: I'm going to help you.

Michael Locke: You already have.

Ziva David: How so?

Michael Locke: By killing Hoffman. One less nightmare... You okay?

Ziva David: Never better.

----------

NCIS: Squad room

Timothy McGee: Thought you were taking the day.

Ziva David: Gibbs' idea. Not mine... That Hoffman?

Timothy McGee: Yeah, I'm reviewing the tapes.

Ziva David: Victim number three?

Timothy McGee: Monica Bishop, judging by the dress. Look at this guy here... He's watching 'em. If Hoffman had an accomplice, he could very well be him.

Ziva David: Or he could just be a passerby.

Timothy McGee: There he goes... Look, he's heading in the same direction Hoffman took the girl.

Ziva David: Or he could be going to a bar.

Timothy McGee: Or he was checking to make sure no one was following them, before joining Hoffman and killing the woman. That's got to be Hoffman's accomplice.

Ziva David: Man without a face.

----------

Anthony DiNozzo: Spoke to the neighbors. They barely knew Hoffman. Guy was an enigma.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Well, he still is.

Anthony DiNozzo: Found a stack of photos, too. Not a woman in any of them. Just Hoffman and his Marine buddies. Any one of 'em a potential accomplice.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Good a place to start as any.

Steeve Rosetti: Gibbs, I thought we closed the case on this one.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Yeah, found a partial print on Hoffman's knife that doesn't belong to him.

Steeve Rosetti: Most serial killers work alone.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Yeah. Most.

Anthony DiNozzo: Wouldn't be the first time a killer worked with a partner. You got the Cook brothers, Eric and Lyle Menendez...

Steeve Rosetti: I wouldn't get too excited about a partial print on a knife... It could be anything.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: I need to review all the evidence you have.

Steeve Rosetti: I already given you everything I think is relevant.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Well, then give me everything you think isn't.

Steeve Rosetti: Gibbs, you've got your killer, you've got all your bodies...

Anthony DiNozzo: Most of the bodies. We're still missing. Five of the fingers that he cut off the victims are missing.

Steeve Rosetti: Doesn't mean thatthere's a second killer.

Anthony DiNozzo: Well, maybe Hoffman kept the bodies as a prize, and his accomplice got to keep the fingers.

Steeve Rosetti: DiNozzo. You were a cop. Tell your boss what it's like to have 20 open case files on your desk.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You know what, Rosetti? I don't care if you've got a hundred. There could still be a killer out there.

----------

Bar

Michael Locke: Well, I hope you weren't looking for me.

Ziva David: Is that really what you are hoping?

Michael Locke: Not even close. You know, I could, buy you a drink, or...

Ziva David: Or what?

Michael Locke: You could come home with me.

Ziva David: Why would I do that?

Michael Locke: Because you feel guilty about lying to me. Or because you just killed somebody and... Need someone to hug.

Ziva David: Why do I have the feeling that you are angling for more than just a hug?

Michael Locke: Angling? No. Hoping?

Ziva David: Have you been telling me the truth about your girlfriend? Or are you just taking advantage of my raw emotional state?

Michael Locke: Yes. And... Yes.

----------

Bedroom

Michael Locke: No, easy. Easy. Just reaching for my glasses.

Ziva David: You should not do that to me... Look... I don't usually do this kind of thing.

Michael Locke: Neither do I... Is that the gun you shot Hoffman with?

Ziva David: No... We struggled and then I... No, it's not the gun.

Michael Locke: So, what's it like to shoot someone?

Ziva David: It is what it is. It is what you have to do... These are not things I'd well upon.

Michael Locke: I mean, were you scared?

Ziva David: No.

Michael Locke: Sorry. That's a...That's a dumb question. I guess you wouldn't be an NCIS agent if you had a problem with it.

Ziva David: I'm not an NCIS agent. I am Israeli Mossad.

Michael Locke: Guessing Hoffman's not the first guy you've...

Ziva David: Why does everyone think all Mossad agents are assassins?

Michael Locke: Are you? You know, I've never handled a gun before.

Ziva David: Well, you're not going to handle one now.

Michael Locke: Well, I guess I'll just have to handle something else.

----------

NCIS: Abby's lab

Abigael Scuito: I've re-sampled the image as many times as I can, McGee.

Timothy McGee: Try removing compression artifacts.

Abigael Scuito: It's too pixelated.

Timothy McGee: Did you try detecting edges? I am detecting an edge.

Abigael Scuito: I'm good, McGee, but I can't work miracles. This is impossible. I've told you once, I've told you a thousand times...

Timothy McGee: There is no substitute for quality source imagery. I know.

Abigael Scuito: Where are you going?

Timothy McGee: I am going back to work.

Abigael Scuito: Well, you think I'm going to give up that easily? You think I'm a quitter? You, of all people should know that I thrive in the face of adversity.

Timothy McGee: You're making the face of adversity.

Abigael Scuito: I found each of the victim's blood on the murder weapon.

Timothy McGee: Hoffman didn't clean the knife after each murder?

Abigael Scuito: No, he did meticulously. But I found trace evidence where the blade goes into the handle. Okay, look, four of the victims have blood type O-positive. The fifth victim has blood type A positive.

Timothy McGee: That's not that strange. Most killers don't chose their victims by blood type.

Abigael Scuito: No, no, that's not what's strange. I also found traces of a B-positive.

Timothy McGee: Then it must be Hoffman's blood.

Abigael Scuito: No. He's O-negative. Not a match. There's a sixth victim, McGee.

Timothy McGee: Whose body hasn't been found yet.

----------

NCIS: Squad room

Ziva David: Did she leave any forwarding number or address?

Man: No, I'm afraid she didn't.

Ziva David: Okay. Well, if she makes contact, will you please notify me? Thank you.

Man: You're welcome.

Anthony DiNozzo: What are you doing?

Ziva David: Checking into Locke's missing girlfriend. You?

Anthony DiNozzo: Same.

Ziva David: What? Why?

Anthony DiNozzo: Devon Linden Katz. Yeah, not like the musical. Starts with a K, ends with a Z. Got it. Thanks. All right. Checking her medical records.

Ziva David: What, you think she's been lying in some hospital, unable to communicate?

Anthony DiNozzo: No. I think she's been lying in a shallow grave, unable to communicate.

Ziva David: Medical records are privileged information. You need a subpoena.

Anthony DiNozzo: Not if you have an IOU. from a county clerk with a very expressive poker face. Hey. There it is. Thanks, Laramie. I owe you. Well, not as much as you owe me, of course. Right. Guess what Locke's girlfriend's blood type is? The same blood type Abby found on the knife... B-positive. Although it's hard to be positive when the news is so negative.

Ziva David: Millions have that blood type.

Anthony DiNozzo: Only ten percent of Americans have that blood type.

Ziva David: So you have narrowed it down to what, millions?

Anthony DiNozzo: Narrows it down a lot further when you consider that she was a regular at the bar frequented by two other victims. She could easily be victim number six. And your pal Locke could be her killer.

Ziva David: He is not a killer.

Anthony DiNozzo: Okay. Co-killer, assistant killer, killer's apprentice.

Ziva David: Michael was not involved in the murders.

Anthony DiNozzo: Michael?

Ziva David: That is his name.

Anthony DiNozzo: That is his first name. You didn't. Don't tell me... Okay, tell me.

Ziva David: What I did or did not do is none of your business.

----------

NCIS: garage

Timothy McGee: Detective Rosetti, morning.

Steeve Rosetti: Here are the case files your boss wanted.

Abigael Scuito: Sorry.

Steeve Rosetti: Hoffman's car.

Abigael Scuito: Yep. All 786 square feet of dustable surface.

Steeve Rosetti: You find anything?

Abigael Scuito: $3.50 in change. An impressive gum wrapper collection.

Timothy McGee: All right. Thanks for the files, Detective.

Steeve Rosetti: You want the rest? You guys wanted everything... Here's everything.

Timothy McGee: You didn't happen to make a digital catalogue of all the evidence, did you?

Steeve Rosetti: Digital catalogue? That's a good one.

Timothy McGee: Okay.

----------

NCIS: Abby's lab

Timothy McGee: Four boxes, four bags of evidence, four bags of personal effects. I am going to be here forever.

Abigael Scuito: This one has your name written all over it.

Timothy McGee: Thank you. Got an address book... That's great.

Abigael Scuito: So far, all of the prints from the car they match Hoffman. There's just no sign of an accomplice.

Timothy McGee: What about the video still?

Abigael Scuito: I have tried everything. I just... I can't get an ID.

Timothy McGee: You're admitting defeat?

Abigael Scuito: No... I have a new tactical plan... By triangulating the heights of the landmarks. Like the street lights and cars and stuff. I think I can figure out an approximate height and weight of Hoffman's alleged accomplice.

Timothy McGee: That's great. There's a page missing. Torn out. That's why the pages fell. Someone tore out the binding.

Abigael Scuito: Why would someone tear out a page?

----------

NCIS: hallway

Anthony DiNozzo: How tall is your buddy Locke?

Ziva David: About six-one, six-two.

----------

NCIS: Squad room

Anthony DiNozzo: How much do you think he weighs?

Ziva David: Why do you ask?

Anthony DiNozzo: Why don't you answer?

Ziva David: 170, 180.

Anthony DiNozzo: Abby calculated the height and the weight of the mystery man on the surveillance video. Six-one, 180, just like Locke.

Ziva David: Well, the only thing that proves is that you are jealous.

Anthony DiNozzo: I'm concerned. Slim build, just like Locke... Of course, with your hands-on experience last night, maybe you could elaborate. Saw you two leaving the bar together.

Ziva David: You followed me?

Anthony DiNozzo: Don't flatter yourself. You do look good on the surveillance video, though. Adds about ten pounds... Come with me My love...

----------

Timothy McGee: Address book belonged to Monica Bishop, victim number three. Missing page is from the Rs.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Pull up her phone records.

Anthony DiNozzo: I want to tell you. Just how much I... Sea of Love, boss. Remember that movie? Al Pacino plays a cop, sleeps with a serial killer played by Ellen Barkin? But the zany twist here is, Ziva's Pacino, and Locke is Barkin. Might even be biting.

Ziva David: Shut your trap, DiNozzo!

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Am I missing something here?

Timothy McGee: Boss, I got it. Matching calls Bishop sent or received over the past year against the letter R. Reeves, Rexon, Richards.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Rosetti.

Timothy McGee: Over a two-week period last year, Rosetti called Bishop five times.

Anthony DiNozzo: Rosetti never said boo about knowing the third victim.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: He's covering for something. Bring him in.

----------

NCIS: Interrogation room

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You know the ramifications of tampering with evidence?

Steeve Rosetti: What are you talking about?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Belonged to Monica Bishop. Victim number three... You forget?

Steeve Rosetti: Nobody knows this case better than me, Gibbs.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Well, I'm guessing you knew Monica more than a little bit. That why you tore the page out of this with your name and address on it? How did it go down, Steeve? Did you meet Hoffman in the same bar where you met Monica Bishop? What was your beef? Rejection? Jealousy? Impotency?

Steeve Rosetti: I had an affair with Monica Bishop. End of story.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Feels more like the middle, actually... Did you help Hoffman, or you just watch?

Steeve Rosetti: Go to hell, Gibbs. You got the wrong story.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Put me straight.

Steeve Rosetti: I met her at that bar six months ago. She was a fixture there. You could drag a dozen guys in here who slept with her.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: She had it coming?

Steeve Rosetti: It was just an affair. No big deal.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Yeah? Then why'd you hide it?

Steeve Rosetti: She was married, I was married.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You don't tamper with evidence because your afraid your wife's gonna see it.

Steeve Rosetti: If my captain found out I slept with her, he would have taken me off the case.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Well, he should have.

Steeve Rosetti: I wanted to catch this guy.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You were getting laid. You wanted to protect your ass.

Steeve Rosetti: No! I wanted the scumbag dead! I was investigating the first two murders before she turned up as the third victim. If you guys hadn't taken over this case, I would have caught Hoffman, and I would have popped him. Gladly.

----------

NCIS: Observation room

Anthony DiNozzo: Gibbs doesn't think Rosetti's the killer.

Ziva David: Neither do I.

Anthony DiNozzo: Guess that just leaves your boyfriend.

----------

NCIS: Autopsy room

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You got to stop staring at this one, Ziva... Put it behind you... You seeing Locke?

Ziva David: You have a problem with that?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: I do if he's a suspect.

Ziva David: Is he?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You tell me.

Ziva David: Look, if you're going to give me a lecture on my bad judgment, I don't need to hear it.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Is that what this is about? You doubting your judgment?

Ziva David: I should've moved earlier.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You would've if you could've.

Ziva David: I left it too late.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You still took him out.

Ziva David: I almost died.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: But you didn't... You've got to trust your judgment, Ziva. Moment you don't... It won't be "almost".

----------

NCIS: Squad room

Woman: Devon, it's me. Did you tell Michael about us yet? 'Cause if you meant what you said last night, it's over between you two. You've got to tell him about us. 'Cause if you don't, I will.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Who is he?

Anthony DiNozzo: Don't know yet. It's a deleted message from Devon Katz's phone.

Timothy McGee: Locke's missing girlfriend.

Anthony DiNozzo: Mystery voice was obviously begging her to dump Locke.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: How did we get the recording?

Anthony DiNozzo: Tell him, McSneaky.

Timothy McGee: Accessed the phone provider's mainframe.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: What we got on him?

Anthony DiNozzo: He's been hanging out at the bar where two of the victims were last seen. We can tie him to Hoffman. Bartender says they were friendly.

Timothy McGee: Locke reported Devon Katz missing two weeks ago.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Covering his tracks.

Timothy McGee: No trace of her.

Anthony DiNozzo: Her blood type was B-positive. Same as the blood type Abby found on the knife.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Victim six?

Anthony DiNozzo: My guess is Locke found out she was bouncy-bouncy with some other guy and he killed her.

Ziva David: You're wrong.

Anthony DiNozzo: You've got to look at this objectively, Ziva. Evidence says he's guilty.

Ziva David: All circumcised.

Timothy McGee: Circumstantial.

Anthony DiNozzo: I think she knows what she's talking about.

Ziva David: His print is on the barrel.

Anthony DiNozzo: What are you doing?

Ziva David: Trusting my judgment.

----------

NCIS: garage

Abigael Scuito: Come on, you big band of belted butyl... Good. I could use some help here.

Anthony DiNozzo: Not tired of those things yet? Hold this, carefully. Locke's fingerprint's on it. Roll aside... Man's work... Heavy... Thank you.

Abigael Scuito: Oh my...

Anthony DiNozzo: What?

----------

Warehouse

Michael Locke: You brought me here for a reason.

Ziva David: I need some answers.

Michael Locke: I thought you said you wanted to put this behind you.

----------

NCIS: Abby's lab

Anthony DiNozzo: How long is this gonna take?

Abigael Scuito: Just a few minutes.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You match the fingers to the victims yet?

Abigael Scuito: I'm working on it, Gibbs.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Did you call Ziva?

Anthony DiNozzo: Not answering, boss.

Abigael Scuito: Okay. So this one... No-brainer, easy to match. I've always really liked this color. It's called Arctic Blue.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: And the rest?

Donald Mallard: Well, I'll give you a hand, Abby. It shouldn't take us long.

----------

Warehouse

Michael Locke: So what went wrong?

Ziva David: Waited too long. I should have moved faster... Right about here... There was nowhere left to go... And we fell onto the floor. We struggled, and then I pushed him off.

----------

NCIS: Abby's lab

Donald Mallard: Jethro, based on blood type, skin tone, angle of cut, I am 95% certain that these belong to victims one, two, three and five. As you recall, victim number four's finger, unlike the others, was severed immediately after death.

Timothy McGee: Copycat theory sounding pretty good, boss. Whoever killed number four knew to cut off the finger, but didn't know Hoffman was keeping them as souvenirs.

Abigael Scuito: Or where he stashed them.

----------

Warehouse

Ziva David: I crawled... I grabbed the gun... I rolled over... And there he was.

Michael Locke: And you shot him.

Ziva David: I shot him.

Michael Locke: I don't understand. Why didn't you shoot him earlier?

Ziva David: I was undercover. I didn't have my gun.

Michael Locke: Just like now.

----------

NCIS: Abby's lab

Abigael Scuito: Locke was all whorls. Bad guy, loops and arches. Locke is not the killer.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: You owe Ziva an apology.

Donald Mallard: Yes, but we still have to account for victim number four's finger, cut off right after death.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Patricia Massey, military wife. Copycat hides her murder among Hoffman's victims.

Timothy McGee: Husband?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Always suspect the spouse.

Donald Mallard: Speaking from personal experience, Jethro?

Abigael Scuito: That's why I'm never getting married.

Timothy McGee: Petty Officer Massey's build does match the guy following Hoffman on the surveillance video.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Call him... Abs.

Abigael Scuito: Yes, Gibbs?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Lose the wheels.

----------

Warehouse

Ziva David: What do you want, Tony? Locke print doesn't match the partial. His print is not a match? Right. Well, next time we should both listen to my instincts. Yeah.

Michael Locke: Was that about me? Was this about me, still a suspect?

Ziva David: I never believed it.

Michael Locke: How'd you get my print?

Ziva David: You touched my gun.

Michael Locke: So you took my fingerprint, ran it. I didn't match up, and now you're telling me you never believed it was me?

Ziva David: Look... I tried to stop this, okay? I'm sorry, Michael.

Michael Locke: I wish I could believe you, Ziva, Gina... Whatever.

----------

Base

Kevin Massey: Hey, something wrong?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Yeah. Like to talk to you. Need you to come with us.

Kevin Massey: Yeah, we're a man short today. Can it wait?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: No.

Kevin Massey: What's the problem?

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Got some theories on your wife's murder.

Kevin Massey: Yeah, you got the guy, he's dead.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: We don't think Andy Hoffman killed her.

Anthony DiNozzo: Sure you want to do this here, Massey?

Kevin Massey: I got nothing to hide.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Hoffman was killing women who were cheating on their husbands.

Kevin Massey: You saying my wife was cheating on me?

Timothy McGee: Probably why you were drinking at your favorite bar. Same bar Hoffman frequented. Same bar where he picked up two of his victims.

Anthony DiNozzo: You noticed him, heard about the killings in the news. Put two and two together.

Timothy McGee: The night Hoffman picked up his third victim at the bar, you watched them leave.

Kevin Massey: Not me.

Anthony DiNozzo: You followed them back to Hoffman's house. When he left and she didn't, you broke in.

Timothy McGee: It's pretty neat. Copycat killing using the same knife and MO as the original killer.

Kevin Massey: You guys got a wild imagination.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Yeah, well, the mistake you made, the thing you didn't know, is that Hoffman kept the fingers, except your wife's. Well, that looks deep.

Kevin Massey: Working on the engine.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: No. I think it's from cutting off your wife's finger.

Timothy McGee: We found a partial print and traces of blood on the murder weapon that don't match Hoffman or the victims.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: DNA's going to narrow it down to you.

----------

Bar

Ziva David: Hi.

Michael Locke: What do you want?

Ziva David: Telephone number. I found Devon... I thought I owed you that much... She wants to talk to you.

Michael Locke: Ziva... Thanks.
