Mike Franks: I take it you two weren't sightseeing.

Jennifer Shepard: The name Oshimaida was a code word we were to use in the event our cover was compromised.

Mike Franks: And was it?

Jennifer Shepard: We thought we got out clean. But today at Decker's funeral, a man asked for Mr. Oshimaida.

Mike Franks: Coincidence.

Jennifer Shepard: Only three of us knew that name. Whoever he was, he heard that name from Decker. And Decker only would have used it if he thought he was about to be killed.

Mike Franks: You said he died of a heart attack.

Jennifer Shepard: The coroner said he died of a heart attack. Decker was trying to get me a message.

Mike Franks: You're next?

Jennifer Shepard: My partner's in danger too... Whoever he is, he believes one of us is Oshimaida.

Mike Franks: Who's the other agent? The next time I head for that door, it won't be for show.

Abigael Scuito: Nothing.

Timothy McGee: You told them.

Abigael Scuito: McGee... They're not real. They're just keeping me company while Tony and Ziva are in L.A.

Timothy McGee: Okay... Guess you don't need my help.

Timothy McGee: The EX-IF data on the cell phone. It should tell us the exact time the director took the picture.

Abigael Scuito: McGee, tell me something that cardboard Tony doesn't know.

Timothy McGee: No, Abby, look... He's making a call. If we know what time the call was placed, we can ping all the cell towers in the area...

Abigael Scuito: And we can lift his cell phone number. That's genius, McGee.

Abigael Scuito: Viggo Drantyev. Viggo as in Mortensen. And Drantyev as in... Drantyev.

Jennifer Shepard: Background?

Abigael Scuito: He flew in from Moscow three days ago, solo. Rented a car, checked in to the Excelsior Hotel, and then he checkedout early this morning.

Jennifer Shepard: That's not background.

Abigael Scuito: That's all I have. Viggo Drantyev didn't exist until three days ago. And he doesn't anymore.

Jennifer Shepard: A burn alias.

Abigael Scuito: Yeah, and a damn good one. Totally untraceable, which is impressive these days. Whoever this guy is, he must have friends in high places. Like, nosebleed.

Jennifer Shepard: Anything else?

Abigael Scuito: Nope. You want McGee to put out a BOLO?

Jennifer Shepard: No. Erase the search.

Mike Franks: So, Drantyev hits town and before sundown, your boy Decker is dead. Not enough for a conviction.

Jennifer Shepard: Enough for me.

Ziva David: Our hotel or I file kidnapping charges.

Mike Franks: If he knows about Decker's insurance policy, he'll find us.

Ziva David: Depends on what you mean by obvious. She is dead.

Monroe: You said she just buried her boyfriend.

Anthony DiNozzo: Well, she obviously, you know, been hitting the bottle.

Monroe: She could have fallen. Or jumped.

Ziva David: Or was pushed.

Monroe: You know something I don't?

Anthony DiNozzo: Sasha's been dead for two hours. We talked to the director 20 minutes ago. She said everything was fine. Probably just a coincidence.

Anthony DiNozzo: No.

Abigael Scuito: Sorry I asked. I thought that case was closed... Shell casings contain a variety of useful data points... The first one... Is this indentation caused by the firing pin. Its position narrows down the list of possible firearms.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Can you tie it to a specific gun?

Abigael Scuito: Yep, in 2010. That's when the manufacturers will be required by law to microstamp a serial number onto the firing pin.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: Today, Abs.

Abigael Scuito: Well, it depends on who you ask.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs: I'm asking you.

Abigael Scuito: Okay, the second data point is this. It's breechblock pattern around the back of the shell casing. It comes from the concussive force of the gun firing. It won't let you say definitively if a particular gun was used, but it can rule a gun out... This is interesting... That scratch, it could be an ejector impression from when the spent case was ejected or it could have come from a slight defect in the gun clip. I couldn't really say for sure without inspecting the clip but, either way, I doubt it's definitive enough to be admissible in court... I know. I have a really bad feeling, too. Why didn't you stop me?

Jennifer Shepard: When?

Anthony DiNozzo: Three hours ago.

Ziva David: Director, we are assigned to protect you. This is not just a coincidence. Where are you?

Jennifer Shepard: I don't appreciate your tone, Officer David. And despite what Special Agent Gibbs may have told you, coincidences do exist. And that is what we have here.

Ziva David: Okay, but...

Jennifer Shepard: I'm fine. There's nothing to worry about. I'll meet you later to take the red-eye flight home.

Jennifer Shepard: Not for Sasha.

Ziva David: The director's lying. She's not fine.

Ziva David: No.

Anthony DiNozzo: Well then, there you go. If someone had a gun to her head, she would use the duress word.

Ziva David: Tony, there is something going on here. How can you not... You do see it. You just don't want to get involved.

Anthony DiNozzo: She doesn't want us involved. If there's one thing I've learned about the director's private wars, it's that it's best to stay away. For her and for us. She's a big girl. She can take care of herself. Besides, probably is a coincidence, anyway. And she's behind one of those expensive windows munching on overpriced cashews courtesy of Mr. Outtatown.

Mike Franks: Probably went back to her apartment to grab a few things. If Viggo got to her, we have to assume she talked. Knows about us.

Jennifer Shepard: And this place.

Mike Franks: And Decker's insurance policy... Guess he's gonna be on his way. If we leave now...

Jennifer Shepard: You can go... I'm staying... This ends here.

Mike Franks: You're gonna need a clean one.

Anthony DiNozzo: But we're not going to.

Anthony DiNozzo: We do not know that she is in trouble... Okay, I'll give you that one... But... You want to be the one to tell Gibbs that we let the director out of our sight?

Ziva David: Good point. But it's a risk we have to take.

Anthony DiNozzo: Or we compromise.
